Terms and Conditions

This Website is for general information purposes only and is not intended to constitute an offer to solicit business.

This Website does not represent a prospectus or invitation in connection with any solicitation of capital or participation on any Lloyd's syndicates.  Nor does it constitute an offer to sell securities or insurance, a solicitation of an offer to buy securities or insurance, or a distribution of securities in the United States or to a US person, or any other jurisdictions where it is contrary to local law.  Such persons should inform themselves about and observe any applicable legal requirement.  Underwriting at Lloyd’s involves a significant degree of risk and those participating in the market will be exposed to the risk of underwriting losses.  In addition, they will remain liable for losses until the liabilities of all syndicates participated upon have been reinsured to close, subject to there being no reinsurance failure.

The opinions (including without limitation any estimates, forecasts, financial projections or valuations) expressed in this document are entirely those of Argenta Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries and are in each case subject to change without notice.  While all reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the information, facts and opinions given are fair and accurate at the time of publication, Argenta Holdings Limited has not independently verified the information in this document.  Accordingly, no guarantee, representation or warranty, express or implied, is made as to the fairness, accuracy, completeness or correctness of the information and opinions contained in this document.  Neither Argenta Holdings Limited, nor its subsidiary companies, accept any responsibility, and shall not be liable for any loss which may arise from reliance upon the information provided on this Website.  No responsibility of liability is accepted by Argenta Holdings Limited, or its subsidiaries, for any loss occasioned to any person acting or refraining from action as a result of any statement, fact, figure or expression of belief contained on this Website.

All illustrative results are shown after standard personal expenses, but before members' agent's fees and profit commission.  Past performance should not be seen as an indication of future performance.  Past performance information contained on this website may not be current and you should refer to the relevant documentation for up-to-date past performance information.

Lloyd's syndicates cannot provide insurance coverage in every country in the world. In certain countries, there are restrictions on the type of insurance products Lloyd's can provide and how business is placed with Lloyd's underwriters ("Underwriters").  The information on this site is not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation.

In the US, Underwriters at Lloyd's are licensed only in Kentucky, Illinois, and the US Virgin Islands, but are approved surplus lines insurers in all other US jurisdictions. Insurance policies issued by Underwriters are not protected or guaranteed by state insurance guaranty as associations or insolvency funds.

Coverage is available from the particular underwriter only through licensed surplus lines brokers or you may approach the underwriter directly, subject to the limitations of the laws of your state.  Persons or companies that do so directly need to make themselves familiar with state laws governing the placement of insurance risks with non-admitted insurers.  A number of jurisdictions have Industrial Insured Exemptions or Large Commercial Insured Exemptions which govern direct placements.  Typically, these require an insured to have a full-time insurance risk manager or a continuously retained insurance consultant and minimums regarding the number of employees and amount of annual premium.

In many jurisdictions, direct and/or industrial insured placements are subject to reporting and taxation requirements.  Generally, such reporting and taxation are the responsibility of the insured.

Because insurance laws governing surplus lines and direct and industrial insured placements vary among the jurisdictions with regard to the requirements and obligations of the insured and any broker or consultant involved, a careful review of your jurisdiction's laws should be made before deciding which procedure is best for you.

The communication of information on this Website is not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation.  In particular, the contents and / or subject matter do not constitute an offer of information, products or services to US persons or in the United States, or in any other jurisdictions where such an offer may be unlawful.
